Our Story
genius Loci (gL) grew out of Joseph Astorino Nicola's desire to solve complex problems. Work within food and health system settings led Joe to develop a new approach to cultural change. He wakes up every day inspired to share the same methods he used to develop gL with many other sectors and regions setting in motion a small ripple effect of sustainability across the planet.

Founder
Joe Astorino is the passionate founder of a collaborative that focuses on community research. Upon completing his PhD in sociology, Joe recognized a significant gap in how classic academic research addresses community needs and shares findings. He set out to create a comprehensive service to bridge this gap.
